The first official welcome to the newly entering College class, Orientation is a week long program that provides programs, resources and tools that helps maximize the academic and personal success of entering students. Family WeekendFamily Weekend

This mid-fall event gives families the opportunity not only to visit their students but also to gain an understanding of their college students’ daily lives. Families will meet faculty and administrators, and can attend a variety of model classes, tours, workshops and social events. For more information, please visit the Family Weekend website.


Homecoming

Students, alumni, and friends are invited to celebrate Homecoming. Homecoming festivities include a block party, tailgate, the inter-House tug-o-war, live music, a kids area, and, of course, the Homecoming football game! Homecoming is co-sponsored by the Alumni Association, Athletics, the College, and Campus and Student Life. For more information, please visit the Homecoming website.


TNSTaking the Next Step

Taking the Next Step is a one-day, conference-style career exploration and exposure program in early January that allows first- and second-year students to explore post-graduation options and meet and speak with alumni of the College. SWSenior Week and Convocation Weekend

This week celebrates and culminates the College experience for fourth-year students. The week's highlights include fourth-year focused social events, the Class Day celebration, a graduation celebration at the Museum of Science and Industry for students and their families, the University’s formal Convocation Ceremony, and the College Diploma Ceremonies.
